Developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is released on November 10, 2020, for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Series S, and the game was released on Playstation 5 two days later on November 12th, 2020. This game is a sequel to the game Assasins’s Creed Odyssey in the Assasin Creed series. This game was such a great hit gaining enormous fandom at release.
The storyline of the story involves Basim attacking Eivor, seeking revenge for Fenrir, but Eivor traps Basim in the computer with Sigurd’s help. Realizing his folly, Sigurd abdicates leadership of the clan to Eivor, choosing either to stay in Norway or follow Eivor back to England. In 879, following the events of the main game, Eivor receives a letter from her maternal cousin Bárid mac Ímair, who has risen to become the King of Dublin and asks for Eivor’s assistance. Bárid informs Eivor of his desire to become an ally of Flann Sinna, who is to be crowned High King of Ireland, and Eivor agrees to accompany him to Flann’s coronation and meets the Irish bard Ciara Ingen Medba, who serves as a personal advisor to Flann. Shortly before Flann’s coronation, Eivor, Ciara, and Bárid discover a plot to publicly assassinate Flann, and foil the killer’s attempts, with Eivor and Bárid tracking down and killing the culprit; a group of bandits issued to kill Flann at his coronation as High King.
Eivor later meets with Bárid alongside Bárid and assists the king in gathering allies to strengthen his reign on Ireland, but after taking the castle of Cashelore, Eivor discovers that Flann’s army had been poisoned, and travels with Ciara to find an antidote. Ciara tells Eivor that she left the Cult upon learning of their extremist ways, and Eivor promises to hunt down the Cult. Eivor goes back to Ulster with Ciara to speak with Flann, only to discover that the other Kings of Ireland wish to eradicate the druidic faith from Ireland, having heard about Eogan’s status as a druid. Eivor and Flann fail to talk down Ciara, and she utilizes the stone’s power to take control of Flann’s men, and later Flann himself, to fight her opponents. Flann promises Eivor to be a good king to the people of Ireland, before leaving Eivor and Sichfrith alone.
With such a fascinating storyline, Assassins’ creed Valhalla is indeed one of the most adventurous and mortal combat games that comes with smooth realistic gameplay, which is a delight for any gamers seeking adventures and quests. Recently, the Playstation 5 players have been facing one such frustrating trouble where they could not save their game’s progress. There are hundreds and thousands of people reporting the issue in Ubisoft’s discussion forums. However, it is very unfortunate that Ubisoft has not fixed the issue yet with Playstation 5 players having lost their game progress or data already.
However, whilst working on the issue still, Ubisoft has requested the players to consider and follow these points for rectifying the issue :
Point 1. When you save your game manually do not overwrite cloud storage save games. You can identify these with the little cloud Icon.
Point 2: When you try to load your game and all save games are displayed as corrupted, please restart the game and choose to Continue on the Title Screen instead. This will continue with the latest save game.
If the problem continues, Ubisoft has to come up with a proper permanent solution to revive the fans from disappointments. Let us hope that Ubisoft will fix the issue as soon as possible!
