Fix: Nintendo Switch OLED not working / turning on

Here we have a few solutions which may solve your Nintendo Oled device.

  •  Fully charge the console

In the majority of the cases, the Nintendo console fails to work due to power-related issues. Users forget to charge the console and gradually the battery simply drains out. Connect the console with its charger and power supply for about 30-60 minutes. Once it is fully charged, restart the device and it will turn on.

  • Make sure the charger works

Sometimes, users drop the charger of the console which can cause damage to it. You may have a faulty or damaged charging accessory for your Nintendo Switch Oled. If your console is not charging then try to use a different charging system to charge instead. The adaptor or the dock may have hardware issues. It is recommended to use the original Nintendo cable and AC adaptor to charge the console.

  • Reset the Nintendo Oled

If your console is not having any power issues, then it can be due to some internal issue. In this case, you can troubleshoot all the systems by Factory resetting it. In this process, all the user files will be deleted, but it is an effective fix to all problems with the console. Follow the steps below to reset your Nintendo.

  1.  When the Nintendo is turned off, hold the Power, Volume Up, and Volume Down buttons for a few seconds.
  2. When the screen appears, scroll down and select Initialize Console.
  3. Select Next to complete the reset.

These solutions have fixed the “Nintendo not turning on” issue for many users. If the problem still exists on your console then you may replace it while it is still in the warranty period. You should also contact the Nintendo Support Team and request them to repair or replace the device.
