This upcoming game is an RPG set in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The story of Hogwart Legacy will take place almost a century before the events of the book written by JK Rowling. According to the trailer of PS5, players will be taking up the role of a student of Hogwart School in the late 19th century. The students will decide the fate of the legendary school as it is in the recent story.
Hogwarts Legacy game: Does it feature Albus Dumbledore & Hagrid?
Most Harry Potter fans expect Albus Dumbledore in Hogwarts Legacy as an NPC, who will have a student at Hogwart around this time. Since the game is likely to be set in the late 19th century, it is thought that Albus Dumbledore will be there in Hogwart Legacy. But there is strong evidence to clarify that the involvement of Dumbledore in the game is not possible.
Albus Dumbledore first arrived in Hogwart in the year 1892. His introduction to Hogwart is very controversial, and exit is victorious, including many characters during the late 1890s. Albus Dumbledore comes with a huge baggage of characters and story, which Hogwart Legacy probably wants to avoid. It will create a huge mess and confusion for players to play and understand the gist of the story. So Avalanche will try to set the story of Hogwart Legacy before 1890 and set it during the 1870s to avoid Dumbledore. You should not expect to see a lot of familiar faces in Hogwart Legacy.
Even Hagrid, who brought Harry Potter to The Hogwarts School, doesn’t exist during the game’s time period. So Hagrid will also not be included in the game. Everything will be unknown and changed. The headmaster, professors, head boy, no one will be there as in the books of JK Rowling. Hagrid didn’t exist during the late 19th century, so Albus Dumbledore and Hagrid will not be included in the game.

The environment of Hogwart Legacy will be similar to Harry Potter, but it will not be the same. You will find new professors, headmaster, spot new and some familiar creatures in the trailer. There might be a Dark wizard wearing a skeletal mask. There is a hint of how your classes will work, learn witchcraft, meet magical beasts, and create new potions.
