Ubisoft revealed their upcoming game featuring Avatar which was not expected by the fans at all. Based on James Cameron’s Avatar film series, Ubisoft will soon launch Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora video game. It will be an open-world action-adventure game upholding the universe of Avatars to the gamers. The game is expected to release in 2022. However, the official release date is not yet announced by the developers, Massive Entertainment. We do not have much data about the game yet, but Ubisoft always presents beautiful games to their fans. Well, let us know if you can play this amazing game with your friends in multiplayer mode!
Is Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora multiplayer
Ubisoft has not yet confirmed any information about Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora being a co-op multiplayer game. For now, we only know that the game will be first-person and will feature an open-world environment for players. However, there are some aspects in the trailer of the game that may indicate multiplayer gameplay.
The trailer shows multiple avatars flying in the air together. A similar side character of Avatar is also featured in this trailer reveal. There can be a possibility that both the characters will be controlled by two different players, making it more fun to play. There are also different costumes on different characters indicating features like costume customization. This means that players in co-op multiplayer mode can join together and play as teams.
The game is built using the Snowdrop engine, which previously was used to create several multiplayer games. Well, these are all assumptions for now. We can hope for further information about co-op multiplayer gameplay by Ubisoft in the next gameplay reveal.
Is this the First Avatar game?
No, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is not the first-ever Avatar game. Back in 2009, Ubisoft has released an Avatar game. The game was launched before the actual movie Avatar was released. The game was a third-person action-adventure game but it did not really project the story of Avatar. Nevertheless, the game looked good in 2009 and also featured 3D effects on a compatible 3D screen. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora can be a second chance for Ubisoft to roll the Avatar legacy in the gaming realm. We can even expect something more than we already know about the Avatar from the films!
