It is the money you use to upgrade characters and their attributes via an in-game store. You can only collect the endorsement check if your agent sends you an email. You will receive the mail only if you have played the first seven or got badges in MyCareer Games. Your agent will ask you to stop by the purser’s desk in the ship lobby to pick up your VC check.
