Platinum End manga series began serialized in Jump Square comic from November 4, 2015, and concluded with a total of 14 volumes on January 4, 2021. At the jump Festa 2021, Signal.MD announced the anime adaption of Platinum End with episode 1 airing on October 8, 2021. The anime will run through the whole fall season. Platinum end follows the story of a young student, Mirai Kakeshashi who attempts suicide after knowing that his foster parents are the reason behind his blood parents’ death. But a Guardian Angel named Nasse saves him. After knowing the sad reality of his life, she bestows him with powers to erase injustice. This also marks the beginning of Mirai’s ordeals as his angel informs him that God will retire after 999 days and he is one of the thirteen candidates to become the next God. The thirteen candidates will fight each other to death, but Mirai refuses to take part in the contest of becoming the next God and then his life becomes full of miseries.
