Developed and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, Tales of Arise is one of the upcoming fantasy-based role-playing games. With the company having released sixteen ‘Tales’ games so far, Tales of Arise is the seventeenth to join the list. The first game of the Tales series was Tales of Phantasia which was released in 1995. The recent last game in the series was Tales of Berseria which was released in 2016.
After four long years, the company is launching the sequel Tales of Arise. This game was set to be launched last year in 2020. Due to the pandemic, the development team needed more time to fine-tune the game in a remote development setup. As a result, the game got delayed till 2021. However, the wait is over as the game is being released next month on 10th September 2021 and will be available for most of the major gaming platforms such as Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 & 5 . Xbox One, and Xbox Series X & S.

The demo mode of the game has been already released on PlayStation 4 & 5. Speaking of the genres and modes of the upcoming Tales of Arise, the game like its prequels will be a 3D animated action-packed and fantasy-based role-playing game, the only exception for this game is that there will not be any multiplayer mode for this game like most of its prequels. This game features 6 playable protagonists/characters with each character having its unique attributes, skills, abilities, and perks. The six characters with whom you can begin the game are Alphen, Shionne, Rinwell, Law, Kisara, and Dohalim.
Skits Spotted during the demo

In fact, the game is centered on the motto of, “Cook, Craft, Battle.” Cook meals and craft weapons with different ores to use in the battles. To survive, different skits play a vital role. The demo of the game, Tales of Arise, has featured a variety of skits namely

- farming skit
- Flashier skit
These three main skits have unique and specific uses. These skits are 3D unlike the previous games in the series. With the fishing skit, one will be able to go fishing to obtain necessary in-game ingredients. With the farming skit, a domestic kind of kit, one can raise and tame livestock that involves dogs, cats which play the role of guarding the posts, and also pigs, bunnies, and cows.
